Blink, a startup founded by Gil Barak, focuses on the intersection of developer operations (DevOps) and security operations (SecOps) in managing cloud infrastructure. The company's founders initially viewed it as a DevOps problem but discovered that security management was a crucial aspect. Many DevOps teams and developers were spending a significant portion of their time on security-related tasks. Blink's solution allows users to automate various activities through no-code playbooks, such as incident response, security breaches, and deploying Amazon S3 buckets. The company has been refining its product with design partners and plans to launch it in the second half of the year. With $26 million in funding, including a $20 million Series A round led by Lightspeed Venture Partners, Blink aims to expand its team and build a diverse group of employees with a willingness to learn.
